MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – Belarusian military personnel will participate in the Nerushimoye Bratstvo 2021 [Indestructible Brotherhood] exercise with the collective peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on 8-12 November. The exercise will take place in a training area of the Kazan Higher Tank Command Red Banner School, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The exercise will include two stages and the active phase is scheduled for 11-12 November.
The exercise is supposed to improve practical skills of commanding officers as they prepare a peacemaking operation and manage troops of the CSTO collective peacekeeping forces during peacekeeping missions. Peacekeeping contingents of the CSTO member states will improve combat cohesion for the sake of working together to accomplish missions during a peacekeeping operation.
The exercise is an excellent opportunity for reinforcing mutual understanding and cooperation between the peacekeeping contingents, for sharing experience and establishing interaction, for working out high combat qualities and psychological resilience of the personnel in the course of fulfilling joint tasks.
