MINSK DISTRICT, 16 August (BelTA) - Staiki Olympic Training Center is playing host to the Health sports festival for employees of the Information Ministry's affiliated organizations. The two-day event will feature media representatives demonstrating their athletic skills, BelTA has learned.
This year's event has drawn 20 teams totaling over 500 participants from national and regional media outlets across the country.
The BelTA news agency team maintains its tradition of active participation in the competitions.
Participants will compete in volleyball, futsal, table tennis, cross-country running, kettlebell lifting, and tug-of-war. A family relay race called Merry Starts is also in the program. Team leaders will participate in their traditional darts and air rifle shooting tournaments.
The sports festival brings together the organizations affiliated with the Information Ministry along with print and digital media outlets.
The awards ceremony for winners will take place on 17 August.
