MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) - Seven ambulances manufactured by MAZ-Kupava have been delivered from Belarus to Beirut, Lebanon, the press service of Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark) told BelTA.
In February, as a gesture of friendship and support for the people of Lebanon, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko gave an instruction to deliver 100 tonnes of powdered milk and ten Belarusian-made ambulances to Lebanon. The first shipment arrived at Beirut Airport earlier this year. The delivery of seven ambulances marks the second part of Lukashenko’s gift to Lebanon.
The MAZ-Kupava factory manufactures cold-proof, isothermal, refrigerating and special bodies based on MAZ automobile chassis and trailers of various load capacities which are well-known beyond Belarus and remain in high demand on the global market.
