MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian gymnast Alina Harnasko is satisfied with the participation in the sport and entertainment show Time of Our Victories, which took place in Minsk Arena on Saturday, BelTA has learned.
Belarusian athletes and artists as well as guests from Russia and China took part in the first event of the kind in Belarus. The show was divided into 12 topical chapters. The bronze winner of the Olympic Games in Tokyo in rhythmic gymnastics Alina Harnasko presented three programs. In one number one of the leading rhythmic gymnastics athletes of today performed together with the famous Russian singer Polina Gagarina.
“It turned out to be an insanely beautiful show. I was a little nervous, but I coped with the feeling and experienced wonderful emotions. The scale was very large. 7,000 spectators in the stands. It would be cool if such events are held every year. We have been preparing a lot for the last three days. One can say, we didn't even leave Minsk-Arena. But it was worth it,” Alina Harnasko said. “Today the conditions were not exactly usual for me: big screens, bright light. It was difficult to throw the club high and catch it. I tried to do everything by relying on experience. I really liked acrobats from China. Their performance was exciting. Guys from Russia showed wonderful folk dances. On the whole, a large number of professionals worked on the show. All the numbers were different in style and meaning. I am convinced that the audience also highly appreciated this show.”
