GOMEL, 2 August (BelTA) – We are offering William Eggerton, a blogger from the UK, to play for our team, head coach of the Rogachev-based FC Dnepr Yuri Melnikov told BelTA.
UK blogger William Eggerton approached the club with an initiative to try him on the pitch. The FC agreed to an experiment and invited him for a meet and greet.
The blogger told the club that he had previously been to Rogachev, that he knows the taste of the incomparable condensed milk from Rogachev Tinned Dairy and is ready to play for the local football team. The young man, as many social media followers have noticed, likes bright colors, including bright green and yellow, and these are the colors of the Dnepr team. Therefore, the FC players have lovingly dubbed him as the lover of condensed milk and bright green color. "We keep in touch. We will soon meet with him for a tryout. He told us he has some football skills. We'll see,” Yuri Melnikov said.
As the FC Dnepr announced, you can see and support William and the team in the next game of the second league - the championship of Gomel Oblast as FC Dnepr hosts FC Vetka next weekend.
