Belarusian ethnographic collection donated to Kazakhstan's National Museum

ASTANA, 1 September (BelTA-KAZINFORM) – Head of the Belarus President Administration Natalya Kochanova donated a collection of Belarusian ethnographic items to the National Museum of Kazakhstan.

“Today I am pleased to donate a collection of ethnographic and household items of Belarus' National History Museum to the National Museum of Kazakhstan. It features traditional Belarusian women's clothing, rushniks (cloths used in traditional rites and weddings), ceramic items, and textiles,” Natalya Kochanova noted.

She added that these items will help tell more about the Belarusian history to Kazakhstan's citizens and guests.

Acting Director of the National Museum of Kazakhstan Leonid Kochetov thanked Natalya Kochanova for the present.

The head of the Belarus President Administration is in Kazakhstan on a working visit from 31 August to 1 September.
