MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) - The Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum is taking place in Minsk on 15-18 October, BelTA has learned.
The forum is featuring the international exhibition “Energy. Ecology. Energy Saving. Electro” (Energy Expo), the Salon of Innovative Transport E-Trans, and the specialized sections Innovative Industrial Technologies, Atomexpo-Belarus, Technologies for Petrochemical Industry, ExpoLight, Water and Air Technologies, ExpoCity.
Over 200 enterprises are showcasing their products and services at the forum this year. Among them are the largest enterprises of the Belarusian energy sector and foreign companies interested in promoting their products on the Belarusian market. The forum will also display expositions of the Energy Ministry, Belenergo, Beltopgaz, Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant, State Energy and Gas Supervision, Belarusian Organization for Radioactive Waste Management, and Economenergo.
The forum is also featuring the Energy Efficiency Department of the State Committee for Standardization. The State Committee on Science and Technology is organizing a collective exposition of educational and research organizations and institutions of the Education Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. A collective exposition of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim will also be featured at the event.
Taking part in the forum are more than 30 companies from Russia, including a collective stand of the enterprises of the Udmurt Republic, and also companies from China and Iran.
The forum is organized by the Belarusian Energy Ministry together with stakeholders. Rosatom State Corporation is an official partner of the event.
