MINSK, 9 Febraury (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrei Chernetsky visited the Multicultural Museum in Seoul, BelTA learned from the Embassy of Belarus in the Republic of Korea.
"The diplomat and director of the museum Kim Yun-tae exchanged views on possible cooperation projects between the embassy and the museum to popularize Belarus among Korean residents, which is especially important in the year of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries," the report said.
The ambassador toured the expositions of the museum featuring various cultural items, from foreign banknotes to national clothes, and musical instruments from many countries. He gave a Belarusian folk doll for the museum's exposition.
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Korea were established on 10 February 1992. The Belarusian Embassy in Seoul was opened in December 1997.
