Belarusian Defense Ministry conducting radio warfare staff exercise

MINSK, 13 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian Defense Ministry is conducting a staff exercise for radio warfare units, BelTA has learned.

A staff exercise for radio warfare command bodies and units of Belarus' Armed Forces is taking place on 13-14 July under the supervision of Chief of the Radio Warfare Office of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel Igor Danilchik. During the exercise the personnel are expected to practice planning combat employment and carrying out missions. Improving the cohesion of command bodies of radio warfare units is in focus. Apart from that, commanding officers and officials of the staffs will improve their ability to manage army units in a complicated and rapidly changing environment.

Correctness of the decisions made during the exercise will be verified in practice. The units will have to carry out a full cycle of combat work to look for, determine the location, and suppress sources of radio signals, and neutralize unmanned aerial vehicles. Apart from that, they will carry out technical oversight measures at army installations. It will improve the level of mastery of new and upgraded equipment and the ability to use it in field conditions.
