MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) - The Mogilev office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) hosted a meeting with Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of India in the Republic of Belarus Rajesh Kumar. The meeting also featured representatives of Kyrgyz-India Global LLC, an Indian company recruiting specialists in India to work abroad. During the meeting Belarus expressed interest in this area of cooperation, BelTA learned from the BelCCI.
Kyrgyz-India Global LLC is a leading provider of staffing solutions, offers a wide range of qualified workers to meet the needs of enterprises around the world. It is registered and approved by the Ministry of Labor and Employment of India as a certified overseas recruitment and consulting agency specializing in the recruitment of Indian workforce.
The meeting was attended by Belarusian companies interested in using hired labor from abroad. Participants included representatives of the construction industry, manufacturers of textile and bakery products, construction mixtures, and metal products.
According to Rajesh Kumar, cooperation between India and Belarus is developing in many areas, and labor force is one of them.
The Mogilev office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has experience of cooperation with India, Director General of the BelCCI Office in Mogilev Gennady Chyorny said, adding that preparations for a visit of Belarusian business representatives to India in the second half of 2025 were underway as part of the efforts to expand trade and economic cooperation between the countries.
Gennady Chyorny stressed that the topic of hiring labor force from abroad was generally not among the BelCCI's activities, but if enterprises of Mogilev Oblast needed it, the BelCCI was ready to provide assistance in such activities, including online.
Negotiations with Kyrgyz-India Global LLC and a presentation were held as part of the meeting. The parties discussed issues on attracting workers of certain specialization, visa support, and registration. The enterprises agreed to send their requests to India for further elaboration.
