MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) – Belarusian military personnel have launched missiles from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) Polonez-M for the first time. They successfully hit a target 300km away in a Russian military exercise area, the Defense Ministry told BelTA.

Modernized MLRS Polonez-M units became operational in 2023. They boast a much bigger engagement distance. The fire power potential was also upgraded, including area attacks.
