Belarusian Amkodor, Russian Tyumen Oblast discuss cooperation

MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) - The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Amkodor and Russia’s Tyumen Oblast discussed the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation, BelTA learned from the company's press service.

The delegation of Tyumen Oblast of the Russian Federation headed by Deputy Governor Vladimir Cheymetov visited Amkodor. The delegation toured the permanent exhibition of Amkodor vehicles and machines and held negotiations. One of the key items on the agenda was the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between Amkodor and Tyumen Oblast.

"This cooperation has a stable and fruitful history. Every year Amkodor supplies special-purpose machines to the enterprises of Tyumen Oblast, which contributes to the economic potential of the region. The visit was an important step towards closer partnership between Amkodor and Tyumen Oblast and further economic growth of both parties," the press service said.

Amkodor was established in 1927. The company consists of 30 legal entities, 22 plants that produce more than 6,500 names of products, including 135 models and modifications of special-purpose vehicles and agricultural machines. All Amkodor enterprises are integrated into a single technological chain. Each member specializes in manufacturing specific machines, units and assemblies for all enterprises of the company. Amkodor constantly develops new models of machines and vehicles and improves existing ones.
