MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian air carrier Belavia has canceled flights to Sweden and Latvia, BelTA learned from Belavia's website.
“Due to the suspension of the permit for flights of Belavia by Sweden, we are forced to cancel all flights to and from Stockholm from 26 May 2021 to 30 October 2021. All flights to and from Riga are also cancelled from 26 May 2021 to 25 June 2021 due to the decision of the Latvian aviation authorities to ban flights to and from Belarus,” the website reads.
Passengers can choose different departure dates or refund the cost of tickets for flights scheduled for these dates. This can be done within one year from the date of purchase for fully unused tickets or within one year from the date of the commencement of the flight for partially used tickets.
“We are sorry for the inconvenience. We do our best to process passenger requests promptly,” Belavia added.
