MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) – Belarus' BRSM Youth Union and the Russian Youth Public Organization Mobile Cadres of Russia have signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the National Youth House in Minsk on 17 February, BelTA has learned.
The agreement is aimed at cooperation between the youth public organizations of Belarus and Russia in organizing activities of student brigades set up at Belarusian automobile and Russian construction educational institutions.
The youth initiative will contribute to further development of the youth policy of the Belarus-Russia Union State, patriotism and communication, and the student movement. The document outlines the main areas of cooperation, and also the basis for the development and implementation of joint patriotic programs and projects. The BRSM Youth Union and the Mobile Cadres of Russia plan to implement in 2021 the road map of the agreement and launch an international labor project for the construction of the historically important highway M1 (Belarus) with the participation of student brigades of the two countries.
The initiative for cooperation between the BRSM Youth Union and the Mobile Cadres of Russia was announced at the 8th Belarusian-Russian Youth Forum in mid-December 2020.
