Belarus welcomes over 4,000 visa-waiver Europeans during week

MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Over 4,000 European citizens have visited Belarus as part of the expanded visa-free travel program over the course of one week, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.

"Over the last week, 4,326 foreign nationals from 38 European countries entered Belarus visa-free," the State Border Committee said.

A total of 957,401 European residents have entered Belarus since 15 April 2022. They include 298,510 people from Latvia, 558,641 people from Lithuania and 95,591 people from Poland as well as 4,659 citizens from the 35 countries, which were added to the expanded visa waiver program on 19 July 2024.
