Belarus, Vietnam to exchange information on customs violations

MINSK, 13 September (BelTA) – The customs services of Belarus and Vietnam will exchange information on violations and statistics. The agreement was reached at a meeting between Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Belarus Yuri Senko and Director General of the General Department of Customs at the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam Nguyen Van Can on 12 September, BelTA learned from the State Customs Committee.

The heads of the customs services of Belarus and Vietnam shared experience on the promising areas of customs administration. The parties discussed the customs operation technology applied by the customs bodies of Belarus.

The parties agreed to exchange information related to customs violations and commercial fraud, as well as bilateral trade statistics.

While in Belarus, Nguyen Van Can will be shown the checkpoint Bruzgi on the border with Poland.
