MINSK, 26 November (BelTA) – Vietnam has offered Belarus to jointly create historical documentary films, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Defense.
Representatives of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense met today with colleagues from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. During the meeting, the head of the Vietnamese delegation suggested the parties consider issues related to the joint production of historical documentaries and the exchange of informational materials as part of bilateral interaction. According to him, this will contribute to the development of mass media in both countries. He also invited the Belarusian side to visit Vietnam and learn about the work of military media.
Head of the Information Department - Deputy Head of the Ideology Directorate of the Belarusian Defense Ministry, Colonel Aleksei Titsky noted that the cooperation between Belarus and Vietnam would continue to gain momentum. “Amidst immense external pressure, our states are following their own path of development in the interests of their citizens and are implementing foreign policy tasks aimed at strengthening their sovereignty and independence. Our interstate interaction is based on trust, equality, and mutual benefit. Belarus and Vietnam are united by the aspiration for a multipolar system of international relations and an independent foreign policy, which is why we establish close military contacts without unnecessary formalities,” he emphasized.
