Belarus, Uzbekistan sign memorandum of understanding in personnel training

MINSK, 15 July (BelTA) – The State Committee for Standardization and the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation have signed a memorandum of understanding in retraining and advanced training of personnel, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Committee for Standardization.

The document was signed by Chairman of the State Committee for Standardization Valentin Tataritsky and Director General of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Dilshod Sattarov.

The parties confirmed their interest in cooperating in retraining and advanced training of specialists who are responsible for ensuring the uniformity of measurements, technical regulation, accreditation, conformity assessment and quality management.

Belarusian and Uzbekistan specialists will exchange information and best practices, run retraining and advanced training programs, conduct joint research, arrange educational and scientific events, conferences, seminars, and webinars. Another area of cooperation is certification of professional competences of specialists engaged in conformity assessment.
