MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan Leonid Marinich met with Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov of Uzbekistan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the state of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan and exchanged views on promising areas for expanding cooperation in agriculture, industry, and pharmaceuticals.
"The parties reviewed the schedule of visits and events planned for 2024 and expressed confidence that the upcoming Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan will give an impetus to economic cooperation, bilateral ties, primarily interregional ones," the press service noted.
