Belarus, Uzbekistan announce competition of joint R&D projects for 2021-2023

MINSK, 17 March (BelTA) – The State Committee on Science and Technology of Belarus and the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan have announced a competition of joint R&D projects for 2021-2023, BelTA learned formYuri Lukashevich, spokesman of the committee.

The competition will be held in several priority areas: energetics and energy-saving, healthcare and medical technologies, pharmaceutics and pharmacology, nanotechnology and biotechnology, chemical technology, new materials, digital economy, food security, agricultural technology, sustainable use of natural resources, emergencies prevention and response, technologies for water resources management, mining technology, laser technology, and photonics.

Applications will stay open from 1 April and will close on 15 May 2021. The documents must include a business plan and written commitments from a state customer to apply solutions and results of the research in practice and to partake in financing. Completed forms should be emailed to the State Committee on Science and Technology through the information and analytical system Expertise.

The competition of joint R&D projects is organized in line with the agreement between the governments of Belarus and Uzbekistan on cooperation in science and technology of 13 September 2018.
