MINSK, 4 August (BelTA) - More than 250 Belarusian military will take part in the Vostok 2022 exercise in Russia, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
According to the ministry, the Belarusian military will take part in a strategic command and staff exercise on the territory of Russia. Belarus will send more than 250 military personnel of one of the mechanized brigades of the Western Operational Command. The exercise will be supervised by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, Army General Valery Gerasimov.
The exercise will involve 13 training grounds of the Eastern Military District and will be running from 30 August to 5 September.
