MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – State subsidies for starting one’s own business will increase to almost Br10,000 starting from 1 February 2026 and will remain in effect until 30 April, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
In cities, the subsidy is set at 11 subsistence minimum budgets, amounting to Br5,466.56. In small towns, districts with high labor market pressure, and rural communities, the sum increases to 15 subsistence minimum budgets – Br7,454.40. The maximum amount of 20 subsistence minimum budgets, or Br9,939.20, is allocated to the unemployed for entrepreneurial activity involving the use of scientific research and development results.
