MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – A national minute’s silence was observed in Belarus at 12.00 on 22 June, on the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People, BelTA has learned.
At 12.00, people remembered those who suffered from the actions of the Nazis and contributed to the Great Victory at the cost of their lives.
22 June in Belarus is the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People. Belarusians remember all those who died from the atrocities of fascism in the most terrible war in the history of mankind, who survived and defeated the enemy in the name of a peaceful future for those living today.
