
MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) - Tourism and local history week for children and young people will take place in Belarus on 23-29 May, the National Center for Ecology and Local History of Belarus told BelTA.
Teachers and students will be able to take part in events aimed at developing tourism and local history activities, fostering civic and patriotic values and promoting respect for Belarus’ rich history and culture.
The week will kick off with the opening of the National Orienteering Competition as part of the National Sports Competition for children and youth, which will be held in Gomel Oblast.
Guidelines for organizing events have been published on the website of the National Center for Ecology and Local History.
The event is organized by the Belarusian Education Ministry and the Belarusian National Center for Ecology and Local History.
