MINSK, 21 August (BelTA) – Belarus will increase the base rate for wages of public-sector employees on 1 September 2024. The corresponding resolution was signed by Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, BelTA learned from the government press service.
On 1 September 2024, the base rate will be increased to total Br253. Currently, the base rate is Br250.
The base rate is the main element of the tariff system. It is used to calculate salaries of public sector employees and employees of other organizations receiving subsidies.
