MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) – Belarus plans to implement three Belarus-Russia Union State projects as part of the health promotion campaign, consultant of the main department of education and youth policy at the Belarusian Education Ministry Larisa Emelyanchik told a press conference held at BelTA's press center on 14 May.
“The tourist gathering for the Union State students is planned to be held in Belarus' Bobruisk District in late July 2021. Children from the Russian Federation and our teams will come here to participate in tourist competitions and live in a tent camp for a week,” Larisa Emelyanchik said.
One more Belarusian-Russian project, a meeting of young ecologists, is also in the plans. The civil and patriotic project “For the Honor of the Fatherland” for students from Russia and cadet schools of Belarus is planned for September.
The planned session at the Russian Children's Center Orlenok is still in question. The center administration is in talks with Rospotrebnadzor “on the possibility of admission of children from regions with a favorable epidemiological situation for the 8th session. The conditions and order of possible admission are being discussed”.
According to Aleksandr Tsai, Deputy Director - Head of the Department of the National Center for Recuperation and Health Resort Treatment, plans are in place to send Belarusian children to the camps on the Black Sea coast.
Belarusian children's rehabilitation and recreation centers are working with Mosgortur on possible transportation of Russian children to the Belarusian resorts, taking into account the epidemiological situation. If there is a resource and, most importantly, a demand, children from Russia will come to Belarus. In fact, there are no serious restrictions on this: to enter the country one needs a negative result of a PCR test done no later than three days before crossing the border.
