MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – Belarus has plans to hold 180 competitions that are designed to find and promote talented youth in 2021, BelTA learned from the Culture Ministry.
Among them are nine international and 15 national competitions, eight festivals-contests, as well as many other events at the regional, district and city level.
The International Pop Song Performers Contest Vitebsk 2021 and the International Children's Music Contest Vitebsk 2021 are to be held in July as part of the International Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk. Music lovers will certainly appreciate the Minsk-2021 International Piano Competition, which is arranged every four years.
The biennial events that will be held this year include the Minsk International Children's Theater Forum Steps and the International Competition of Jazz and Pop Music JAZZ-TIME, Open University Competition of Folk Song Performers Galasy Radzimy (April), and the National Theater Award (May). Fledging directors are invited to participate in the Yuri Tarich national open competition of amateur films. A detailed schedule of events is available on the website of the Ministry.
