Belarus to attend CIS Interior Ministers Council meeting in St. Petersburg

MINSK, 12 August (BelTA) - A delegation of Belarus’ Ministry of Internal Affairs will take part in a meeting of the CIS Interior Ministers Council in St. Petersburg, Russia, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.

"On 12 August a delegation of the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs led by Minister Ivan Kubrakov will take part in the 51st meeting of the CIS Interior Ministers Council in St. Petersburg. Participants are set to discuss the priority matters of cooperation in law enforcement and the progress of interstate programs in combating crime.

Key discussion topics will include: challenges of illegal migration and ways to address them, combating crimes committed using information and communication technologies, joint efforts to improve road safety, and regulatory frameworks governing the use of personal mobility devices.
