Belarus showcases tourism potential at Adventur 2020 expo in Vilnius

MINSK, 30 January (BelTA) – Belarus presented its tourism opportunities at the Adventur 2020 expo that was held on 24-26 January in Vilnius, BelTA learned from the National Tourism Agency.

“Participants of the presentation spoke in depth about Belarus' tourism potential, its natural resources, historical and cultural heritage. They also focused on the Brest-Grodno visa free zone and pointed out that the visa-free travel time for foreign citizens there has been extended up to 15 days,” the agency noted.

Taking part in the presentation were representatives of travel agencies, health resorts, hotels, and rural tourism estates. They made visitors of the event familiar with medical tourism, recuperation services, business tourism, and sport tourism in Belarus, offered tours for individual tourists and groups. Representatives of the hotel business spoke about measures they intend to take to attract foreign visitors to the 2021 IIHF World Championship that will take place in Belarus and Latvia.

Adventur 2020 is the largest international tourism expo in the Baltic states.
