Belarus showcases its tourism potential at online expo

MINSK, 28 August (BelTA) – The Day of the Republic of Belarus is being held at the International Online Expo for travel industry professionals from Russia and the CIS countries, the Belarusian National Tourism Agency told BelTA.

The country’s tourism potential is showcased by its enterprises, hotels, agro-tourism farmsteads, tour operators, nature reserves, and museums. The participants include winners and laureates of the national tourism competition titled Discover Belarus. The main topic is preparation for the autumn-winter season.

As Director of the National Tourism Agency Dmitry Morozov noted at the opening of the presentation series, Russia is the main tourism market for Belarus. The introduction of mutual visa recognition with the Russian Federation opens up new opportunities for creating attractive cross-border routes for tourists from other countries. Dmitry Morozov invited all interested parties to visit the Belarusian national stand at the Leisure 2025 expo, which will be held in Moscow on 10, 11 and 12 September 2025. Also, on 12 September, starting at 11:30 a.m., a workshop uniting representatives of the tourism industry from various regions of Belarus will be held at the business and cultural complex of the Embassy of Belarus in Moscow.

“The classic workshop format will enable participants to connect directly with Belarusian companies, attend presentations on regional tourism potential, and explore opportunities for cooperation and joint project development,” the National Tourism Agency said.

The online expo will last until 17 September 2025.
