MINSK, 22 October (BelTA) – An air traffic agreement between the governments of Belarus and the Seychelles was signed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 21 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The document was concluded by Director of the Aviation Division of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus Igor Golub and Minister of Transport of the Republic of Seychelles Antony Derjacques.
According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus, the agreement is aimed at regulating operational and technical aspects in the field of air transport and is the legal basis for arranging flights. In the future, this will allow air carriers to operate passenger and cargo flights between the airports of the two countries.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications is confident that the document will help strengthen tourism, economic and commercial contacts between Belarus and the Seychelles.
