
MINSK, 27 February (BelTA) - A scientific center of artificial intelligence has been set up in Belarus, the United Institute of Informatics Problems at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus told BelTA.
The United Institute of Informatics Problems and Intelligence's Innovation, a resident company of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone, signed a provision to establish the Scientific Artificial Intelligence Center (AI-center) on 27 February 2025. It will be located on the premises of the institute.
The AI-center will focus on advanced technologies in machine vision, natural language processing, neural networks, supercomputing, cybersecurity and other areas.
“This is an important step to develop the Belarusian IT industry and strengthen international high-tech partnerships,” the institute noted.
