MINSK, 16 April (BelTA) - Belarus is deeply interested in joint technological development together with Chinese partners, especially in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov said during the talks with the delegation of the China Association for Medical Devices Industry on 15 April, BelTA has learned.
As it was determined during the meeting between Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang during the Chinese representative’s official visit to Belarus last August, the cooperation strategy should be based on the sectoral cooperation using new and high technologies. “China defines it as the development of new quality productive forces. Of course, we are very interested in developing new industrial chains and supplies, promoting new industries and deepening innovation and cooperation. We are deeply interested in cooperation with Chinese partners in technological development, especially in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and other areas,” Nikolai Snopkov stressed.
Attending the meeting was Vice Premier Vladimir Karanik and Healthcare Minister Aleksandr Khodzhayev. “The team monitoring this area is aimed at high cooperation results,” the first vice premier said.
