MINSK 19 June (BelTA0 - The conference in Switzerland showed that there is no coherence or a common point of view on the processes taking place in Ukraine today, State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council Aleksandr Volfovich said at the international security industry exhibition “National Security. Belarus 2024”, BelTA has learned.
"Today, trends are changing; many countries are expressing their point of view and their opinion. Not everyone likes it. The most recent example is the recent conference on Ukraine in Switzerland," Aleksandr Volfovich said.
The state secretary of the Security Council noted that Western countries wanted to attract a large number of states: "In fact, the conference drew much fewer participants than they expected. Many countries simply downgraded the status of their participation. The results speak for themselves."
Aleksandr Volfovich stressed that about 80 countries out of 92 present at the so-called peace conference signed the final communiqué. "This suggests that today there is no coherence or a single point of view on the processes taking place in Ukraine today and on the global processes in general," he added.
