MOSCOW, 7 June (BelTA) – The Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will convene via videoconferencing on 16 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Parliamentary Assembly.
“A meeting of the 60th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will take place online on 16 June. It will be hosted from the headquarters of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus in Minsk and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia in Moscow,” the press service noted.
MPs will consider a report of the Union State Council of Ministers on the execution of the Union State budget in 2020 and discuss matters regarding drafting the Union State budget for 2022 as well as drawing up new programs and projects.
“The agenda of the session will also include proposals to increase the effectiveness of work in the parliamentary dimension and to tap into the potential of model legislation. MPs will also discuss making agreements on compulsory insurance for civil liability of motor vehicle owners issued in Belarus and Russia valid in the entire territory of the Union State,” the press service added.
