Belarus-Russia business council to meet in Minsk on 18 January

MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) – The first meeting of the Belarusian-Russian business council will take place in Minsk on 18 January, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The parties are set to consider general issues related to the activity of the business council, cooperation with the government bodies of the two countries.

The decision to set up the Belarusian-Russian business council was taken at the 5th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in 2018. The relevant agreement was signed in Moscow on 19 December. The Belarusian part of the business council is led by Director General of the Belarusian-German Santa Impex Brest Alexander Moshensky, the Russian part – by Chairman of the Council of Directors of Uralchem Dmitry Mazepin.
