MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – As from 1 January 2025 the family capital equals Br33,275, BelTA learned from the press service of the Labor and Social Security Ministry of Belarus.
Thus, the amount of the family capital benefits rose by 5.7% or Br1,795 compared to last year.
This amount of the family capital benefits will be awarded to families at birth (adoption) of the third or subsequent children in the period from January 1 to 31 December 2025.
The Labor and Social Security Ministry recalled that the family capital is granted in the amount which was in force on the date of birth of the third or subsequent children, and in the case of adoption - on the date of adoption of the third or subsequent children. Thus, in case of birth (adoption) of the third or subsequent children in the period from 1 January to 31 December 2024, the family capital is assigned in the amount of Br31,480.
The family capital is annually indexed to the consumer price index for the previous year. The consumer price index in 2024 was 5.7% as against 2023.
