
MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) - In 2024, Belarusian doctors provided medical assistance to foreigners from 157 countries, BelTA learned from a review published by the National Statistical Committee of Belarus to mark Medical Worker Day.
The top five countries using Belarusian healthcare services were Russia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Serbia, and China. Belarusian doctors also treated foreign citizens from distant countries, including Australia, New Zealand, American Samoa, and Fiji.
The most in-demand services included inpatient medical care (42.9%), medical services provided in health resorts (22.6%) and dental care (11.2%).
