
MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) – A delegation from the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China familiarized itself with the capabilities of the Belarusian State Committee of Forensic Examinations on 12 June, BelTA learned from the committee’s press service.
The visit of the Chinese delegation led by political commissar Sun Baoliang marked an important step in strengthening professional interaction and expanding international cooperation in forensic science.
The central office of the Belarusian State Committee of Forensic Examinations hosted a working meeting between Deputy Chairman of the committee, Major General of Justice Sergei Yevmenenko and the Chinese delegation. The parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation, paying special attention to experience exchange, conducting joint scientific research, and participating in international projects. The dialogue took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect and interest in long-term partnership.
Following the meeting, members of the Chinese delegation visited the exhibition of Belsudexpertobespechenie, where the enterprise showcased the latest domestic equipment used in forensic examination. The Chinese colleagues showed interest in the presented products, which led to discussions on possible directions for technological cooperation.
During the visit, the foreign guests toured the divisions of the Main Directorate of Special Examinations and the Main Directorate of Criminalistic Examinations, where they studied the technical capabilities of the laboratories, the main areas of expert activity, and the practical application of modern equipment. The parties expressed interest in exchanging experience and furthering bilateral cooperation.
