Belarus PM says feels well after receiving coronavirus vaccine

ORSHA, 9 September (BelTA) – During his working trip to Orsha Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko told reporters that his health condition did not change after he had received a COVID-19 vaccination on 3 September, BelTA has learned.

“I feel great, I have been on the go all day long as you can see. I work to the best of my ability. Therefore, please do not worry about my health condition,” Roman Golovchenko said.

The premier informed that the negotiations on the mass use of the Russian coronavirus vaccine are in full swing. “Our Healthcare Ministry joined the last phase of the clinical trials. It is to be completed in the nearest future. The vaccine should be registered in line with the Belarusian legislation; after that it will be used,” he said.

Roman Golovchenko did not give any details regarding the timing. “We have plans to partially localize the final production stage of this vaccine (this is most likely to be packaging) in order to cheapen it,” the premier added.
