Belarus' permanent mission to EU hosts first seminar on export

MINSK, 9 April (BelTA) - The first seminar of the Export to the EU series of video conferences took place on 8 April, BelTA learned Belarus' permanent mission to the European Union.

The events were organized by the Belarusian permanent mission with the expert support of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry and the Belarusian State Institute for Standardization and Certification (BelGISS), as well as Belarusian diplomatic missions to the EU member states. The purpose of the seminars is to familiarize Belarusian companies interested in supplying products to the European Union with the EU market, the principles of activities of the relevant European institutions, as well as to provide information about the available opportunities.

During a series of video conferences, Belarusian foreign institutions in the European Union will present information on algorithms for bringing products to the EU market, standards in force in the European Union, requirements for the execution of commercial offers, and information resources that provide information on foreign trade issues in the EU.

Enterprises of Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Mogilev oblasts took part in the first seminar. Similar events are scheduled on 13 and 15 April, with the participation of enterprises of Brest Oblast and Minsk Oblast, as well as the city of Minsk.
