MINSK, 9 April (BelTA) – Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Igor Sergeyenko outlined the international agenda for parliamentarians in the upcoming months at the meeting of the Council of the House of Representatives, BelTA has learned.

A Belarusian parliamentary delegation will participate in a meeting of the CSTO PA Council in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on 19 May.

“In June, we plan to hold the 68th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Brest,” Igor Sergeyenko said. He asked the deputies to consider issues to be included in the agenda, for example, regarding interregional cooperation, new programs and projects.
The Belarusian delegation will also take part in the 32nd OSCE PA Annual Session in Portugal, which should be used to further explore potential ways to rebuild relations with thoughtful parliamentarians of its member states, Igor Sergeyenko noted.

The main focus of the House of Representatives’ work in the second quarter of this year will be participation in events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. To mark this occasion, Volgograd of Russia will host the international patriotic forum Great Heritage - Common Future.
