MINSK, 13 August (BelTA) – Belarus and Pakistan are engaged in discussions to advance defense partnerships, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
On 11-15 August, Belarus is hosting a delegation led by Lieutenant General Tabassum Habib, Director General of the Joint Staff Headquarters of the Pakistani Armed Forces. The Pakistani delegation is in Belarus for the 4th round of bilateral consultations aimed to map put cooperation prospects in the defense sector.
A day before, Chief of the General Staff and First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus, Lieutenant General Pavel Muraveiko and Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department, Aide for International Military Cooperation to the Belarusian Defense Minister, Major General Valery Revenko held separate talks with the Pakistani delegation.
