MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) - Belarus has organized the transit of 59 Ukrainian truckers home, the Belarusian State Border Committee said in the Telegram channel.
On 23 March, at about 22:00, two buses with 60 truckers arrived at the Kamenny Log border checkpoint from Lithuania. 59 Ukrainians and one Belarusian were returning home from Lithuania, Germany and France. Representatives of the public health service carried out mandatory screening measures. All passengers felt good showing no signs of infectious diseases. Then border and customs clearance procedures were carried out in a designated channel,” the State Border Committee said.
The bus carrying the Ukrainian truckers accompanied by the state traffic police took them to the Novaya Guta checkpoint on the border with Ukraine. Necessary controls performed, they entered the territory of Ukraine.
