According to him, the Belarusian healthcare system is well-known globally. Foreign specialists come to Belarus for training and work. Therefore, the Omani delegation was familiar with the healthcare system in Belarus. It is important for Oman to gain a better understanding of the opportunities that Belarus has to offer.
Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti expressed gratitude to the Belarusian side for the invitation and organization of the visit. He noted that expectations are very high: “We will be here for the next two days. We plan to tour several healthcare institutions. There will be an exchange of views and interests in our three most important areas: healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry and medicine exchange, and medical education.”
The program of the visit of the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation is quite extensive. It includes visits to major national scientific and practical centers, the Belarusian State Medical University, and leading pharmaceutical manufacturers: Belmedpreparaty and, if possible, the Borisov Plant of Medical Preparations.
