Belarus offers training programs for Zimbabwean law enforcement

MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – Belarus offers training programs for Zimbabwean law enforcement officers. This matter was discussed during the visit of Belarus’ Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov to Zimbabwe, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
 
“Events unfolding in the world suggest that a lot of attention must be paid to countering all types and forms of crime, as well as to intensifying inter-state cooperation between law enforcement. Modern challenges and threats should be confronted jointly and through open dialogue and exchange of experience,” Ivan Kubrakov emphasized.
 
In particular, the parties discussed the training of Zimbabwean police officers by Belarus’ special forces and at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus. “Interaction in this field can be very promising and long-running. Belarus is able to offer high-quality training that meets all modern standards,” the minister of internal affairs noted.
