Belarus' Natural Resources Ministry to receive Br385,000 for water contamination control

MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – The Belarusian Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Ministry will be alloted Br385,000 to buy a mobile laboratory for water contamination control in line with the Belarusian Council of Ministers' resolution No.500 of 31 July 2019 which was officially posted on the National Legal Internet Portal on 2 August, BelTA has learned.

The Finance Ministry will earmark the money in the second half of 2019 from the national budget set aside to finance measures against natural disasters, accidents, and catastrophes.

The National Center for Analytical Monitoring in the Area of Environmental Protection will receive Br385,000 to buy a mobile laboratory to monitor contamination in water bodies and to prevent adverse impact on the environment.

The document has been approved in line with the law “On the national budget for 2019”.
