MINSK, 29 January (BelTA) – Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) Vladimir Gusakov met with a delegation of the scientific community of Mongolia led by Vice Minister of Education and Science Ganbold Ganbayar, BelTA learned from the NASB press service.
During the meeting the parties discussed the ongoing cooperation in science and technology and recognized the significant potential for developing partnerships in the field of education and science.
Following the meeting an agreement was reached to sign the updated agreement with the Mongolian Academy of Sciences for 2024-2025, which will be supplemented with a roadmap of cooperation, and to look into a possibility of signing a cooperation agreement between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and Mongolia’s Ministry of Education and Science. The parties will consider holding a conference of young scientists in the first half of 2024 and exploring the master's, postgraduate and doctoral programs in the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Mongolian specialists.
Following the meeting, Ganbold Ganbayar thanked Belarus for successful negotiations and the tour of the permanent exhibition of the NASB achievements which shows the NASB’s strong engagement in the real sector of the Belarusian economy.
