MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Winner of the Miss Belarus 2018 pageant Maria Vasilevich from Minsk made it to the Top 32 of the Miss World 2018 Top Model Challenge, BelTA learned from the Instagram account of the contestant.
“About 120 girls from around the world showed up on the runway to compete in the Top Model Challenge. I have advanced to the final and made it to the top 30 models according to the jury,” Maria Vasilevich wrote.
Miss France won the Top Model Competition.
The Miss World 2018 pageant is taking place in China. While getting ready for the contest Maria Vasilevich was assisted by the National Beauty School and the Culture Ministry. The contestant took lessons in makeup, hairdressing, style, psychology, runway walk, and English. She also learned two dances for the show. The biggest challenge was making designer dresses for the international pageant.
The winner of the Miss World 2018 pageant will be announced on 8 December.
