MINSK, 17 March (BelTA) – Belarus and Kyrgyzstan have discussed cooperation matters and personnel training in the military field, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.
According to the ministry, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Belarus Erbol Sultanbaev. The parties discussed the development of cooperation in the defense sector, including personnel training.
The ambassador confirmed the participation of Kyrgyz military personnel in the parade to mark the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which will take place in Minsk on 9 May.
